COLUMBIA – Senator Chris Dodd addressed University of South Carolina business students, professors, community and political leaders this morning, laying out some key ideas behind his thinking on the economic future of the United States.
This is my first trip with Senator Dodd, and I have to say I’m stunned by the reception he received. Though he was just here a few weeks ago, he still drew a full compliment of media – three television cameras, three photographers, and at least a dozen reporters I saw, though there may have been more. Once he finished taking questions, some students and two professors who had waited around for him to finish followed him out to the car, thanking him for coming and being so passionate about issues that mattered to them.
We’re on our way up to Rock Hill, South Carolina, for an event with York County Democrats this evening, and I’m trying to figure out how to get all the pictures we took uploaded as quickly as possible. Don’t worry, Dodd fans – you’ll see them right away.
