Serving in the Senate with Chris Dodd, I was able to see first-hand his innate ability to bring people together to get things done for the American people. When Chris speaks, you can tell that his colleagues are really listening – and not just Northeasterners, not just Democrats. Chris is able to get the votes on both sides of the aisle – the type of support that is necessary to get results.
He embodies bipartisanship because he recognizes that that is what it takes to get real change for Americans. We need these qualities in a President – the ability to work with Congress, work with world leaders with differing views – which I why I fully support Chris Dodd to be our nominee.
