I am enthusiastically supporting Chris Dodd for President. As a fellow veteran of the Peace Corps, I know that Senator Dodd is the only candidate with the ability to restore our reputation in the world, after this disastrous go-it-alone strategy that the Bush Administration has put forward. Chris Dodd has led on both foreign and domestic issues that are critically important to all Americans, from authoring the Family and Medical Leave Act to restoring the writ of habeas corpus, and he is the man that I trust to lead us as Commander in Chief.
Dodd’s fluency in Spanish, which he obtained working to revitalize communities in the Dominican Republic while in the Peace Corps, makes him an even more attractive candidate, because he can reach out to Americans of various backgrounds and inspire them to get more involved in the political process.
