DES MOINES – Jackie Dodd, wife of Presidential candidate Chris Dodd, will join staff of the Iowa Homeless Youth Center’s (IHYC) Street Outreach Program on their afternoon round through Des Moines’ homeless encampments and evening meal at their downtown outreach center. Senator and Mrs. Dodd first visited the outreach center last month, just prior to Thanksgiving, to help serve lunch to the center’s clients.
Press are invited to meet Mrs. Dodd and IHYC staff at the outreach center at 3:30pm, then follow the outreach van to the encampment sites. (Limited space in the van will prevent ridealongs.) Press may also meet Mrs. Dodd and IHYC back at the outreach center at 5:30pm for the evening meal.
