Chris Dodd for President

I realize that this is down to the wire and Chris is probably not going to win tomorrow in Iowa or in any other state. What a pity - he is a good man.
Senator Dodd has vast experience, but more importantly, he stands for things. Not only has he consistantly shown courage and conviction, he has also demonstrated that he is willing to adher to his principals and fight for them. He doesn't just follow the polls and parrot whatever sounds to be a good line like many of his opponants.
The media ignored him from the start - wanting the contest to be between the 'first woman' and the 'first black'. Seldom do they seem to concern themselves with who will make the best president in a very difficult time.
Whatever Chris decides to do from here on, we wish him the best. We lived 18 years in Connecticut until 2005 when we returned to New York.
